Sunlight
Place your succulents in an area with plenty of sunlight but provide some shade during the hottest part of the day to prevent sunburn. A location with filtered or partial sunlight is ideal.
-
Watering
Spring is a growing season for succulents, so they will need more water than winter. Water them thoroughly but infrequently, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings to avoid root rot.
Water your succulents only when the soil is dry and reduce watering compared to the warmer months.

Pests and Diseases
Spring can bring an increase in pests like aphids, mealybugs, and scale insects, as well as diseases like rot or fungal growth.
Regularly inspect your succulents for any signs of pests or diseases and treat them promptly. Early detection is critical to preventing these issues from spreading to other plants.

Re-potting
Spring is a good time to re-pot succulents that have outgrown their containers. Choose a pot with drainage holes, use a well-draining soil mix specifically for succulents or cacti, or amend regular potting soil with perlite to improve drainage.

Fertiliser
Feed your succulents with a balanced fertiliser in Spring to encourage healthy growth. I recommend Osmocote Cacti & Succulent Controlled Release fertiliser. One application will last for six months. It's available at Bunnings and most garden stores.
